we gonna drink bacardi like its your birthday

well i have not completely fallen off the earth. the necessity for a computer is really becoming obvious lately. apparently i no longer have a bamamail address, so don't email me anything until i set up another one. maybe i'll do that in a few minutes on hotmail or something.

i am tired. last night was something else. i went to a bachelorette party for a girl i did not know. (she is in holt's class, and wendy was hosting it and kept asking me to go, so i did) it was very fun. i drank way too much. i kept wishing that i was dancing with hof gals instead, and that the band was downright instead of four on the floor. i just kept thinking about how much more fun that would be. aside from that though, it was a good time. we ate dinner at lakeview oyster house, which was good, and apparently is the hip place to go now. then we went to "the kudu"

the reason i haven't updated in so long, in case you care, is because i've been out of town so much. i'm not complaining, its been awesome. but really the only time i have time to do stuff like this (email, lj, etc.) is at holt's house on the weekend.

lets see. last weekend i was in seaside for that wedding (it was awesome, so pretty down there at the beach, very nice wedding). the weekend before was easter, before that i was in mobile, and before that i was in new orleans. just traveling the southeast. thats me, traveling gal. haha

so i've already told several of you about the girl i saw walking in the park, but i haven't told blair and i know she will particularly enjoy this. i was eating lunch at overton park as i am wont to do on pretty days. now overton park is in mountain brook and is a rather small park, but it has a walking trail around it. and as small as the trail is, folks still walk around it sometimes. so there i was eating my lunch, when i look over at this girl walking. she's about our age, shes got headphones on, and she has made several rounds of the park. all the sudden, she closed her eyes, and started dancing in place. she was shrugging her shoulders, snapping her fingers, and doing pas de bourres. pas de bourres!!! it was hilarious. i looked around like "does anyone else see this?" but noone was paying any attention. it would have been different if she was with people, but she was by herself just getting down. ahhh good stuff.
