hi, I am Michelle (chelchiks) friend. I just found out I am expecting and we were talking about cloth diapers and she mentioned you. Would it be ok if I friended you? I would enjoy hearing your stories of being a new mom. I am only 6 weeks so I still have a while to go.
Cloth dipes...I was going to but missed the boat on the ones I had purchased, Fuzzi Bunz size small, as of yet I haven't bought any new cloth dipes. I really should though but am just so lazy....disposables make it too easy. Anyhow, if you want to learn about cloth diapers you really should join clothdiapering, you'll learn a lot there. I lurk there and am trying to get my head around all the different types there are out there avialable. It's mind boggling.
Funny thing, some of the ladies in the clothdiapering community spend far more money on their cloths than they ever would on disposables. They HAVE TO HAVE one of everything. It's sort of funny to watch.
Oh yeah, congrats. Enjoy the pregnancy. It is an amazing time. Of course, it's even better once the babe arrives but the pregnancy part is pretty cool too.
Oh I wouldn't be scared about the pregnancy. It is a little bizarre at times, the mood swings and then needing food at 4AM but aside from that it is not too bad. My back killed me in my third trimester but really that was the worst of it.
There are tons of pregnancy communities on here as well. I joined one but had to quit a few days in because the stupid questions were making me want to put a bullet through my head. I mean, there are stupid questions and then there are STUPID questions. Perhaps it was the pregnancy hormones....*shrugs*
