She Wants To Conquer The World Completely

Jack had abandoned them, they had no bloody idea when, or even if he would return. Someone needed to be the captain, take charge of their rowdy little mob. Whatever the hell this was, whatever was going on in her head (and even she didn’t know quite what that was), it would give Owen a shrink’s field day, when he saw, Gwen knew.
One grey and wet Monday morning, on Ianto’s chair, up in the tourist information centre, she left the charcoal skirt that Tosh had helped her buy, at Marks and Spencer. The garment was inside out, and accompanied by a card of eight 1cm diameter buttons. She could only hope he would understand her half-secret message.
And maybe anticipate what else she might require for her dressing-up game.
gwen locker ianto, the text message on her mobile said, at 2pm, that afternoon.
There, Gwen found the buttons and a pair of Jack’s old grey braces on the skirt, a dark blue shirt and a long blue-grey coat, with brass buttons. The shirt and coat were in her size, of course.
“You’re brilliant, you are, Ianto Jones,” she quietly exclaimed.
Oh, he’d understood her message perfectly, and bought exactly what she hadn’t actually asked for. Smiling, Gwen pulled out her phone, and replied:
ianto thank you sweetheart :) gwen
She then gathered the clothes into her arms and dashed off to put them all on.
Because someone needed to play Jack Harkness.
And that someone was gonna be her.
