Fingers Entwined

One of the Captain’s men appears, the girl with him asks for the use of Lovers’ Corner, and Jack instantly mourns the loss of Captain Harkness’ touch.
He’d taken the initiative, made the first move. Then the fact that it was 1941 reared its ugly head. Even though the Services were kinda turning a blind eye, this was still illegal.
Hell, they’d been holding hands. Nothing sordid about that, surely?
But mid-twentieth century society said there was.
Jack sighs, as he considers that Captain Harkness wouldn’t experience a world where he didn’t need to hide quite so much. Thirty years later, instead, 1971, there would've been pretty girls, handsome men.
And so much glitter.
With ’67 four years gone, no-one would have paid any mind to two men holding hands.
