Awww! I just started watching the Sarah Jane adventures, and this is adorable! I can totally see Jack trying to hire Luke ;-)

Also, the notes about the relative competence of the two teams: harsh but accurate. Oh, Torchwood. *laughs*

It's just as well they're pretty ;) They were better in S2, though, it has to be said. :)

Sarah-Jane would kill Jack, repeatedly, if Luke ever joined Torchwood. I have no doubt that she would come back from the grave to do so, if necessary. = )

...It seems like Torchwood Three were doing better at the "not completely fucking things up" in the second season and actively causing harm. Maybe they could get consulting from a ceriten retired UNIT official?

Oh, yes ;) Most definitely.

No doubt. I can picture ickle-Jack pouring over a book about UNIT and and reading about him. Plus, he's probably the only person Jack could ask who's first statement was "Well, you should really get rid of the guns..."
