I just discovered something else I wish I didn't know about WWI, in "Minds At War".
The gunfire in France could be heard all the way across the Channel, on the Sussex Downs. The gunfire at the Somme was heard in London.
Now I need to work this into Jack's PTSD, in "The Torchwood Girls".
