The Torchwood Girls story bible/cast list (people other than Captain Jack Harkness)
I hadn't planned on casting my boys (as I was only setting them up to kill them), but they decided in the last couple of days that they wanted to be cast. Here we go then, they were all recruited by Jack in 1903:
Michael Davies (Ewan McGregor) - an expert at obtaining information
Ioan Jones (Ioan Gruffudd) - an expert with machinery
Dr Andrew Smith (Daniel Craig) - medical officer
Simon Reynolds (Damian Lewis) - an expert at communication with aliens
And here are the girls:
Joan Redfern (Jessica Hynes/Stevenson) - ex-matron of Farringham School, recruited by Jack as a second-in-command in the aftermath of The Family of Blood, November 1913, attending university after the war to train to be a doctor
Eleanor Smythe (Nigella Lawson) - hunting/shooting/fishing gel, expert shot, physicist/engineer, recruited by Jack and Joan from Somerville Collge, Oxford, in spring 1914
Amy Rhodes (Jewel Staite) - mathematician/Rift expert, recruited by Jack and Joan from the LSE, in spring 1914
Dr Penelope White (Gillian Anderson) - medical officer, recruited by Jack and Joan from Kings College London, in spring 1914
Jennifer Porter (Allison Mack) - chemist/engineer, recruited by Jack and Joan from Somerville Collge, Oxford, in spring 1914
Harriet Derbyshire (Siobhan Hewlett) - physicist/Rift expert, recruited by Joan and Eleanor from St Hilda's Collge, Oxford, in spring 1917
