Torchwood 2.3 To The Last Man reaction/review

I loved that.

I can't believe I've only just remembered this, but Tommy is the slang/generic name for a British soldier, especially in WWI. That was why they made the deliberate point of shortening his name.

He was meant to be Everyman, every single soldier, dead or alive.

And Tosh and Tommy were so lovely together.

As was that Jack/Ianto kiss, even if it did feel a little "stuck in." It's always all about those massive hands of JB's ;)

I know it's pretty much established fanon that Jack's kind of telepathic, but that scene when he had his hand on the floor, eyes closed, that seemed to indicate that he actually is kind of telepathic. That bit also made me think of Jack Hawksmoor, God of Cities, from The Authority.

The SFX was great, and the Rift Key looked very cool.

The ep was pointed and political and moving. And Jack's always the captain, not the general.

Oh, and I had a few points confirmed for my story; good to know I've been on the right lines with Jack's state of mind and the kind of women he would have hired.
