Define support.
I am disgusted with mil_wives. For a while, I blew past gossipy entries on their community page and thought about leaving, but didn't, thinking maybe it was my imagination that the catty posts were so frequent. Today they posted about one of my LJ friends, and the girls there didn't like it when I defended her. Last I checked, being a military spouse and forming a support group didn't mean sitting at your computer and waiting to jab at other military wives and pick at their status over yours. And it makes me laugh, their user info says, "Tired of the drama and immaturity of other military communities? We are too!", "A tight knit community of military significant others.". More like a tight-knit group of gossipy girls with nothing better to do with their time. Who needs that? Grow up, ladies...stop being so catty. If you're in this community, be careful who you befriend. I'm sure the same catty girls are in other military communities as well.
