Let's get some sleep, shall we?

Tonight made up for my entire (boring) weekend. Ordered Chinese, watched some Everybody Loves Raymond and Family Guy, laughed tons, talked about a new apartment complex my aunt told me about that we plan on checking out this weekend or next. :) I love him. Everything just always makes sense. He is my best friend. :)

Speaking of best friends, I miss Maria. She left for Mexico last weekend and said she'd be there for two weeks, so I guess she comes home this weekend. Sometime after she gets home, I need to talk to her about getting a job where she works. The thought of leaving my co-workers (Brittany, Ollie, George, Michele) absolutely dampers my current comfortable work life status, but I just need something that pays more at a place that *gasp* allows overtime. I just need to. I'm crossing my fingers. Not only that, but I'd get my own office space, which is just awesome. I've always been the girl who played teacher growing up and made her own worksheets. It thrills me more than you'll ever know to visit OfficeMax or Michaels for scrapbooking, school, or just because I can stuff. The thought of having my own cubicle just throws me into an inner gigglefest. I'd love it. So, I have to nudge her on that and see where it takes me.

I attempted to go to bed two hours earlier than I usually do last night. I was that bored. I ended up laying in bed, tossing and turning for one of the two hours. Apparently I thought I was tired, and my body was, instead, saying, "You're nuts. It's too early. Get up." I finally fell asleep at eleven. Oh well - better than after midnight. And it always shows the next day. I felt so much more awake all day - even before my three cups of Starbucks. ;) (Okay, so each cup contained more milk than coffee...it wasn't that bad.) In the words of Riley Armstrong, "Sleep...no, I never get enough."

I'm also happy to report that I started my diet up again today (Haha - how many times have I done/said that?), and Friday night I started journaling daily, and have kept up so far. Now to just get my finances in better order. Sigh. Maybe next week on that one.

I guess that's all I have to update on today. I'm gonna do some things and try for eleven again tonight. Wish me luck. :)

Oh, P.S. Ladies who are married, or who would know this...Jarrod and I found a photographer we really want. He has our wedding date open as of right now. To hold the date, he needs a 50% deposit, which is around $800. Do you think it's safe to wait, or should we get it done ASAP? We have fifteen months until the wedding, and I'm thinking we could have it in two months, maybe sooner if we really just suck it up and do it. Suggestions? Edit: I e-mailed them. A couple of ladies in engagement/wedding communities said some places will work with you on payments. We'll see what they say.
