EXTRAAAAA-VAAA-GANZAAA
oh my goodness what a fun weekend ill go day by day for yall
FRIDAY
barbara and i went to the mount and catholic games at parkview. we were pretty much the only girls there because of a lockin for the incoming freshmen. we had fun. we got to see are fun history teacher doc. fon. she is in a lip sync with the class. we are doing sister act salve regina. doc. is the pianist, barb. is whoopi, and i am the young one who blasts her voice. then we went to wendy's then zach's house.
then SATURDAY came along
i have been waiting for so long for this day. i went to the mall after sleeping in then at 5-30 i went to the youth center because it was time for the big EXTRAAAAA-VAAA-GANZAAA!! we drove over in julie wilson's car to UALR where the event was held. the main reason i was looking forward to EXTRAAAAA-VAAA-GANZAAA was to see my search roomie MEGHAN! i was looking all over for her when we first walked in then i spotted her. i ran over to her and he hugged and screamed!!! i was so excited. then we had to split up and figure out where to go. we then went to the "diamond room" for introductions, rules, and the talent show. there was a band that was playing and clare and meghan knew a member because of search. when we were over there i was amazed because the drummer was in my search group it was so fun to see him. we then went to the gym to hear speakers. we heard from bishop sartain, a lady who had an abortion, and also a lady whose husband led the rebellion against the terrorists on the pennsylvania flight on sept. 11. she was amazing. i was in awe. i was so excited when i saw "bruce" hehehe. i had a crush on this guy ever since search. i realize now that it is stupid to have crushes like this. there is so many other more important things to spend your thought and emotions on. i mean i still think he is a cutie and a nice guy but im not going to be upset about stupid stuff. anyways we then had the dance. clare, daniel, barry, meghan, and i all chugged energy drinks- red bull and blue ox, well meghan at least tried haha. gosh it is hard to swallow that stuff fast. well that got us a little hyper and it helped me to get out on the dance floor. haha i dont really like to dance i guess cause i dont have self confidence about it and maybe cause i have NO RYTHEM. well anyways we had fun. after the dance we all went to are sleeping rooms -boys upstairs, girls in the gym- we could not convince our chaprones to let meghan and i sleep together. for some reason we had to sleep with our parishes we hated that. so clare meghan and i all talked until lights out. it was good to catch up i love that girl. then at lights out clare and i went with our other christ the kingers. at like 3-30 all of our friends decided to go to sleep (after clare gave wet willies to all those already asleep and the rest of us plugging their noses) well after awhile clare and i were still up so we stayed up and talked. i believe i got about 3 hours of sleep that night.
SUNDAY
i wasnt going to take a shower but after the dance everyone was GROSS! we then had breakfeast took a lot of pictures and then split up and went to the MASS FOR LIFE at the state convention center. Bishop Sartain was the priest who presided it was a really good mass. i couldnt find meghan until after we ate. we all got to march together. we marched to the steps of the state capital. there were alot of good speakers including katie bebe who was also in my search group she did great as well. then natalie and i ran off to say good bye to BRUCE i kept telling her know and then i finally gave in. i was running back afterwards because i didnt want to miss meghan. when i got to where i was going to meet them i didnt see any one then i saw clare. she said meghan had to go. i almost fell to the ground with sadness and regret. we then went to the parking lot and i was ecstatic to see the st. joseph conway van i ran as fast as i could and meghan jumped out. i swear it was God who let that bus be there for me. we gave each other bear hugs and said our goodbyes. on the way home i realized i was sooo tired. i went home and went to sleep woke up to eat and watch alias then went back to bed.
MONDAY
i went to horses mr. marvin and i went on a two hour trail ride in freezing weather. on the ride i told him what i told a friend that if my dad could not walk me down the isle on my wedding day i would want him to.
TUESDAY
building brighter futures it was Nikita's birthday
bbf is a tutoring program at my church for inner city kids
