State of the Baxter
It has been several years since I've posted on here, though I do occasionally read my friends' posts. I've noticed a recent surge of people returning to LJ, so perhaps I will as well. I've started keeping an occasional private journal, and I thought I might enjoy the odd public update...
So what has been happening in my life you ask?
In brief, life is great!
I am still stage managing in Toronto, and getting pretty steady work, which is great. I love my job, most of the time. There is nothing else I would rather do, and I am always thankful to have a career I adore.
And I'm in love. Madly, deeply, in love. 2 years ago this spring I started dating the most amazing woman, and before I knew it, we were both head over heels. We moved in together this past April, and I have been experiencing some of the happiest times of my life. I am still amazed sometimes at this turn the road has taken. And very very thankful to have her in my life.
And that's about it, really. Life moves ever forward. Tomorrow I have a matinee, and then S and I head to Kingston for Christmas festivities. I am looking forward to the family time.
