Black Hole Heart

Aug 18, 2009 20:59

(read to the tune of No Place Like London from Sweeney Todd)

There's a hole in my heart like a great black pit
and my failed dreams inhabit it
and its hopes aren't worth what a pig could spit
and it goes by the name of Love.

At the top of the hole sit the winning few
Making mock of the losers in the lower zoo
turning beauty to lose and loneliness...

I too have sailed the world and seen its wonders,
for the happiness of men is as wondrous as you
but there's no love for Mine!
