Dog Gone
Hallie just ate the meat that Kevin had prepared for dinner tonight.
It'd been sitting on the kitchen workbench for over an hour, but the dog was his workroom with him. I'd been watching NCIS and only just got on the PC to check my mail when I heard a sound from the kitchen. I came out and found the tray on the floor with the meat gone and Hallie standing over it.
Mentioned this immediately to Kevin and he put her in his bedroom (standard punishment for mischief) and then my mother phoned and I heard the dog yelp more than once while I was talking to mum. Kevin came out and was going to suggest doing something with the potatoes I'd chopped and then gave up in disgust.
I might just have a sandwich instead.
