Why YouTube is not the same as Television
Just now, I heard the sounds of screaming coming out of Kevin's room. It wasn't Kevin. Rather he was watching a youtube of an American Student getting tasered by university security!
Click to viewIt seems that the student was tasered mainly for being loud. There seem to be multiple versions of this from different viewpoints and angles. The most disturbing bloody thing about this is the student shouting "Help me help me!", "Don't tase me bro... ...what'd I do?" and then being tased. Perhaps just as disturbing is that this isn't an isolated case, this youtube shows a man who was tasered for not removing his hat!
Interestingly, there's a follow-up youtube showing students of that university discussing just what happened. However, what got to me was this - UCLA student tasered by police - THE REMIX! That's why youtube isn't just a net version of TV - it mutates!
But you want to know the really disturbing thing? It's that Australian police will be using Tasers soon!
