Working to a Point

Have needed to format and re-install Windows on my Studio PC. At the moment it's so flaky that I can't be sure which application will or won't run each time I boot. This is mostly the Adobe apps of CS5 and a few others, But I think in the 2.5 years I've owned it I've installed and uninstalled  too much stuff for it to be easily fixed. And an intermittent fault is worse than one that's always busted, because it can be far more frustrating.

This week though I've been getting closure on loose ends. Apart from teh Polare comic and article, I've also needed to finish Part 9 of Return to Second Life. This is partly because then it can go on hiatus for a couple of months while I work on the graphic novels, but also because it uses ExitReality, a sort of virtual world avatar VRML thing that works on that PC, but not5 on the RecRoom PC (who knows why. I might never get the thing working again, so I needed to finish that part of the webcomic so I wouldn't need to access it any more. At pity if that's the case. VRML models look more like those models  made from books of punch-out paper shapes. They have a charm in their own right that the carved foam look of prims in Second Life don't. I'll actually miss seeing these.

But the graphic novels (especially for the confirmation) MUST come first. I'm done with it now and will format (after backing up) tomorrow. Will get back to drawing some Tales pages as well. :)

masters, virtual reality, return to second life
