I think I had an Artist's Date today...
...though I may not have realised it at the time.
I had my hair trimmed. I went to Charlestown and made an appoint with my GP on Monday. I bought: presents for next door for looking after my pets; a kettle from Big_W; a DVD (see story below). I went back to Glendale and had lunch at Raj's Corner (nice Indian food). I fossicked and bargain hunted for a new mobile phone (and found one, maybe). I bought: three sketchbooks in K-Mart that they weren't supposed to have; two Bud Spencer and Terrence Hill films (including They call me Trinity); washing power; cat food; and a cola. I checked out a new pet shop there. And despite having a sore leg and feeling tired, it was all fun!
Mind you, I'm staying home tomorrow, and catching up with myself. Need it, I do!
So, this DVD. I'm in an A&R's bookshop sale shop and they have a lot of DVDs for sale, but no prices shown that I could see. I asked an attendant how much they were and she had to ask the manager and she said "They're all $9.99 unless otherwise marked" I then turned around and immediately saw the DVD shown here, and turned back and said "Like this one?" - which was of course, 9.99!
Had to buy it of course, too much synchronicity to ignore. It'll be either really good, or really bad (or both maybe) but it looks interesting either way. :)
