So you better treat her right! Hehehe....I've been working like a CRAZY PERSON! I love it, I'm having so much fun...and the paychecks don't hurt either!
Going back a little farther, I went to the funeral and it was good...I got to see my family, which was nice. I got back and went to a staff party on the boat. It was great! Then I went back to Jason's apartment and saw him after not seeing him for a couple of days...it was great.
Jason is amazing...really...I'm still trying to settle into the idea that he's not going anywhere...Things are going so well! It's weird, I have this immense fear of abandonment, and I don't know where it comes from. I have a great relationship with my dad, and although I've been screwed many times since Jon, our relationship was generally great and for the most part, totally stable. I don't get it, but I can't help the way I feel sometimes. Insecurity's a bitch. Especially when it's unfounded, and occasionally rears its ugly head to the point where it RUNS YOUR FUCKING LIFE.
Anywho, moving on. Last Monday I went home with Jason to visit his family, and it was so much fun! I was nervous at first, but it was awesome, his parents are sooo much fun and freakin' hysterical! His mom made some great food and desserts too. They went to Cape Cod for the weekend and might be coming on the boat tonight. They're really sweet and totally adore Jason. Granted, who could blame them - what's not to adore? Hehehe I'm such a nerd...
So I saw Jess and Christie T. Friday night...we went out to the Tiki room and had Pupu platters and piña coladas, it was so much fun! Definitely can't wait to do THAT all summer! We met up with some guys, 2 of which were from Costa Rica, which was so weird, since I've met 2 other people from CR in the past 2 weeks...they just kept buying us drinks, it was great!
The band went to the bar that the Odyssey staff goes to after work last night. It was really fun! Even a couple people who cruised came with us. Chris, our drummer, hooked up with the girl, and her friend Gabe was hitting on me hard core, even though he knew I was with Jason! Naturally, he didn't succeed! Guys are so funny.
