Marching on...
Well on saturday I went protesting through Nottingham city centre.
It was fab! Over 2000 people turned up. A right mixture of health professionals and their families protesting about the job cuts and over spending. Plus of course the gradual privatisation of the NHS. It really is terrible and will effect patient care and the services we provide. It leaves us in a very unsafe situation. But it saves money so the government doesn't care.
Anyway, I am really pleased I went. It certainly highlights a very important issue and shows that we aren't just going to accept it. I know it won't change anything but at least people are aware of the problems.
Plus I was on telly 3 times!
