some stuff
so i wake sunday morning at 11, and five minutes later the phone rings...it's germany! so yea, i talk to him for like 45 minutes because then i had to go get ready for church, but it was a fun chat. since he's in germany and jenny will be going to england junior year, i think i might go visit jenny and have kirk come to england to so if it works out then that'll be so much fun. thanks to lauren's new favorite word "toy", i am toying with the idea of me and him. but i think i've decided, with lauren's help, that it's just not going to happen...or i won't let it happen. although how ironic is it that he calls the day before valentine's day? and then decides to inform me that his type of girl is one who is more comfortable in jeans and a tshirt then in some done-up girlie outfit...need i say more.
i saw "hitch" with jamie and christine yesterday. it was pretty cute. and last night on the grammy's, those musicians and singers really killed "freebird" and "across the universe". it just shouldn't be allowed to kill those songs.
anyway, today, valentine's day, was ok. i got the usual chocolate from my parents. not as wonderful as it would have been from a lover, but that's cool. and we got out calculus tests back today. i got a 76. and although i would normally die, this grade was higher than some of my friends in that class, so it made me feel not so bad. but i refuse to let this happen again. i want an A in that class because i know i'm not stupid, and i know the material isn't that hard, and i know i can do it. so i ate lunch with lauren and chatted about my germany and her guy who is equivalent to my germany. (i know i keep saying germany, but it's just easier for me not to actually say his name...don't ask me why, it's just one of those things.) i went to work and dawnie and i talked about the people who were pregnant in high school (and my boss left us some pralines for valentine's day). and then i came home. and to my surprise, what do i find?! a red rose from monny! it's really pretty and i am very appreciative. it's fun getting something on valentine's day.
i know the day isn't over, but it's been pretty good so far. i just have to go around telling everyone happy valentine's day and that'll be that. and if i don't tell you, then HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
