Okay so I am in grade 11 right now, and I just finished Biology. If you don't need a senior science, then DON'T TAKE ONE. There is a part on the mandatory credits that requires either a Tech. course, or a Sr. Science (Physics, Chem, or Bio in gr.11 or 12). I made the mistake of not taking a tech. course earlier, and thus, had very little options.
Biology was a tough course,I will be honest, I hated it. I kind of took it to disect, since I thought it sounded fun. I did it for all the wrong reasons, and my mom told me it would be fun. Argh!
I have SAP right now. It is actually a good course, I took it not by choice: it was the only course left since my other choice was canned.
Do not worry if psychology is what you want to do, you do not need science. Psychiatrists need science. If you were to become a Psychiatrist you would need to go through Med. School...SCIENCE GALORE!!
Also, Gr.11 Law was a fun course. As far as french goes, if you are good and can handle it, than do it. I regret not continuing on in French, or a second language---it just wasn't my thing (even though I am at an immersion school---i choose not to be immersed)
As far as courses looking good, keep in mind that you submit your top 6 marks to Universities. These marks are averaged out, and that is pretty much your average. The only mandatory course in this top 6 is ENG4U---no need to worry.
