Hey Everybody!!
OMG,I just got home from my concert Thursday night for Bob seger and the Silver Bullet Band at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.And all I can say is WOW!!! That concert was GREAT!! :-D
On a personal note,the only thing that ALMOST ruined my evening was a girl sitting near me who kept screaming "B-O-O-O-O-O-O-B!!!" through the whole damned concert until I went off on her after the third song and told her shut up and a fight almost broke out,after she switched seats with her boyfriend and continued screaming the three people sitting behind her told her to shut up too.And finally her own boyfriend got pissed off at all this and told her the same thing.Glad it wasn't just me.
Before the concert started,me and Scott were standing in line to get our beer (gotta have that!) and an old lady working the kitchen had all her old Bob Seger album covers back there with her and was showing them off to the patrons in line like a giddy teenager.Someone in line said to her"Hey you know he's old now" and she replies "That's okay!I'm old too!!" Great fun going on everywhere in the arena.XD
The concert itself...
There was a band who opened for him that was really good,I didn't catch their name but they didn't play very long,only a half hour to 45 minutes.Then they left the stage and Bob came out.The opening song was "Roll Me Away"
I had my ticket printed out and I actually took the time to write down all the songs he sang on the back of my ticket sheet and I'm glad I did.(it was a challenge writing legibly in the dark)The audience sang along to almost every song and during "Turn the Page" the whole arena was singing,including me!!Halfway through the set there was 20 minute intermission then the show continued and ended with TWO encores.Bob was having a good time and danced around the stage with the band a bit and the band members were rocking away having a good time too.The audience was dancing too and was a bit on the older side,I'd say in in the 30-50 range for a majority of them.The performance was classic Bob Seger,flawless and as good as ever.He's better live than on his records.And I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!
The songs went as follows;
Roll Me Away
Trying to Live My Life Without You
-new song from the new CD-I didn't catch the title of it because of that girl screaming next to me
Main Street(this was where finally I went off on that girl who wouldn't shut up)
