School quiz, pinched from Camilla.

Similarly to Camilla, I'm assuming that the Finnish lukio is equivalent to an American high school.

1. Did you date someone from your school?
I fancied a couple of boys from school like rotten, but didn't go out with any of them.

2. Did you win anything in Seniors' Who's Who?
We didn't have anything like that... We had senior chronicle though, that had pics and little blurbs about all the students who were graduating that year. The blurbs were written by the other students. Mine said I was good as Juliet in a special assembly we did, and that I had a cool house.

3. What kind of car did you drive?
I only started to learn to drive during the spring of my last year, so I didn't really drive.

4. It's Friday night...where are you?
Probably at home, the cinema or a friend's house.

5. Were you a party animal?
Not really. I did go to house parties etc, but I only really started going out once I turned 18.

6. Were you considered a flirt?
Not really.

7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
I sang with the chamber choir at Christmas concerts.

8. Were you a nerd?
Yes, still am ;)

9. Did you get suspended/expelled?
I was a very good girl, so I never gave the teachers any cause to do something like that.

10. Can you sing the fight song?
What's that?

11. Who were your favorite teachers?
Most of my IB teachers, in fact. In particular, Wendell (our English teacher) and Kirsti, my kick ass Finnish teacher.

12. Where did you sit during lunch?
Wherever we could find seats in the canteen.

13. What was your school's full name?
Helsingin Suomalainen Yhteiskoulu.

14. School mascot?
We didn't have one.

15. Homecoming court?
Don't have that in Finland.

16. If you could go back and do it again, would you?
Yes, I would. I loved high school, despite the IB exam stress ;)

17. What do you remember most about graduation?
The flowers and the presents I got afterwards, and feeling glad I didn't fall over in my heels when I went to collect my diploma from the principle (who was also my French teacher).

18. Where did you go senior skip day?
The what day?!

19. Have you gained some weight since then?
Yes.

20. Who was your Senior prom date?
We didn't have proms, but my date to the Old Dances (held by the 2nd years and so called as it's held at a point in time when the 3rd years leave to go on study leave, as well as the fact that certain old-ish dances are danced), was called Jan and I fancied him terribly throughout IB1 (my 2nd year) and for most of IB2 as well.

21. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion?
I'm going to the unofficial meet up in April that someone's organising.

22. Who was your home room teacher?
Our class teacher was Wendell, our amazing English teacher.

23. Who will repost?
I really don't know.

24. Did you play any sports?
No, I was more into dancing, and we didn't really have sports teams. I did to as much PE as I had to.

25. Do you still talk to people from school?
A couple... I'm in regular contact with 3 of my good friends from school, and see others from time to time.

26. What year did you graduate?
June 2002, so 5-ish months after I turned 18.
