Things to Awesome-Up Your Monday
1. Jim's Pancakes is an adorable site about a dad making really cute pancakes for his daughter. Sjkdhkjsdfhjk adorable! Guaranteed to make you smile. :D
2. This is not really a cheery item, but one that I find awesomely informative and useful in addition to being important to me, so I'm putting it in here anyway. One of my vague resolutions for the year is to try and read the news more often; climateprogress.org is where I get my info about climate change. It collects news about the climate and links to relevant opinion pieces, among other things. It's not an easy read, but the info is usually stuff I haven't heard elsewhere that's important, so it's worth it. /my $.02
3. Check out these neat photos of different countries ringing in the New Year! WHAT'S UP WITH THOSE BEAR HATS, ROMANIA? XD I love seeing all these side by side.
4. Again with the lamps; this week we have Lovely Land of Lost Lamps, a series of absolutely charming photos that make me want someone to write stories about them.
5. I'm sure everyone's heard about the "golden-voiced homeless man" who went up on a Youtube video and had job offers the next day, but just in case you haven't, there it is. :D
6. Elsa Mora's papercuts are freaking STUNNING. *_*
7. Okay, possibly all of you know about this, but I didn't until this week! Did you know that if you pause any Youtube video, hold down the left arrow, and press the up arrow, it turns into a game of Snake? WAITING FOR VIDEOS TO LOAD JUST BECAME SO MUCH AWESOMER.
