OKAY, IT'S TECHNICALLY ALMOST TUESDAY, BUT IT STILL COUNTS IN MY SIDE OF THE WORLD. D: One of my goals this year is to post eeeevery Monday WITHOUT FAIL, even if I feel like what I've got isn't very interesting. So here we are then! Sometimes I just feel like nothing I have interests other people, but enough of that, I say. I will post something every Monday to the best of my ability, even if it's just one thing. <33333 Because I looooove you guys and you deserve to have awesome, interesting, mindblowing weeks, every week. *hugs for all*
Things to Awesome-Up Your Monday
1. One of the best things, in my opinion, to come out of this past holiday season:
this video of a ferret stealing a Christmas ornament. SORRY IF YOU DON'T LIKE FERRETS, but I happen to think they're adorable. LOOK AT THAT. PRECIOUSSS.
2. It's winter (at least in my hemisphere), the darkest time of the year. Bet you could use something to brighten your dreary days, eh? Check out these
twelve awesome and creative lamps! Oh man, I really want that chameleon one even though it's kind of functionally useless. XD
3.
elizardbits posted this on her journal, and I am passing its awesomeness on to you:
POST-APOCALYPTIC DIORAMAS. YES. HOW COOL ARE THOSE. I never got over my love for dioramas, and these are just pure delight. The library! *_*
4.
wanttobeatree sent me this video and I DIED LAUGHING. Make sure to watch all the way to the end.

5. The sun makes an
infinity symbol in the sky. Be still my heart.
6. I love love love
this tumblr blog from an artist I've been slavishly admiring from afar lately,
Emily Carroll, and an artist I've loved for a long time,
Verabee. (Emily Carroll drew
His Face All Red, if you never caught that!) On the tumblr blog, they take pictures of old dresses and draw people wearing them. So awesome, nes pas? Two of my faves:
1 &
2.
7. The last two things are cooking things, because that's what I've been into lately, but this first one is useful even if you don't cook much:
SNAP-Ed Recipe Finder. This database is formulated for people using food stamps, but it's great for anyone cooking on a tight budget and is fantastically detailed. You can search by ingredients, by cooking time, by certain health principles ("Calcium Rich" etc.), by cost--lots of things! I already found a bunch of things I want to try.
8. Cooking thing numero dos: MAKE
THESE. THEY ARE DELICIOUS. Also pears are in season!
Aaaand that's it for this week! If something in here didn't make your day more awesome, let me know and I will find you something EVEN MORE AWESOME to make up for it. And if you have any suggestions for next week, let me know in comments or a PM! ♥ PHEW, JUST IN UNDER THE WIRE!
