Ugh, Daylight Savings Time, amirite? It's seriously screwed up my whole weekend. To mitigate the suck, HERE IS A BUNCH OF AWESOME! And I've got some great ones saved up for next week, too. \o/

3. betweenthebliss sent me this and I just about DIED laughing: how to make your cat look like a shark. My cats would not put up with this, BUT OH HOW I WISH THEY WOULD. Couple more pictures here.

5. The guy from Alex Reads Twilight (Alex, I presume) apparently also makes fun of bad rap songs. His mocking is SO FUCKING HILARIOUS. I just about died laughing.
Click to view6. Probably one of the most amazing papercraft items I have ever seen in my whole entire life: Castle on the Ocean. Guys, I don't even know what to say about this. It's so INCREDIBLY beautiful, I'm just completely in awe of the work that must have gone into this. I read somewhere else that this took the artist Wataru Itou four years, and it REALLY shows. Just amazing.
7. The "11th Best Picture Nominee," a.k.a. what it takes to win an Oscar:

8. Really fun and amazing drawing tool! Use the little menu at the top to toggle the effect. AHHHH I love this so much! It makes EVERYTHING look amazing and good, even stuff I draw with my freaking touchpad. I could play with this for hours!
9. gypsy_sunday sent me this adorable short film, Signs. It's about ten minutes long, and it starts a little slow, but AUGH it is SO adorable, you guys. Totally worth it, I promise.
10. Okay, this is technically part of an ad campaign, but the concept is seriously so amazing that is makes me tear up every time. ♥ If you live somewhere where it gets darker in the winter, you'll recognize this feeling. Tropicana "brought the sun" to a small town in the Northwest Territories, and the looks on everyone's faces just get to me. The kids, most of all, especially the one who does the double-take in the classroom. I don't know how much of it is staged, but--it just makes me stop a second and remember that spring is coming, the sun is coming back, and THAT makes Mondays more awesome than anything. ♥
