badum badum monday!
Hi everyone! It's Monday, and that means it's time for me to try make the start of your week more enjoyable by sharing awesome links with you. YAY! :D
Okay, this is just a post of the things I could find quickly, because my homework was not meant to take this long, and I want to have something up now! HOWEVER I think I have at least half again as many things this week, so I shall either: post more of them today in another post OR scatter them in my journal throughout the week and link them in next week's post. ♥ Whew, okay, onto what you really came for:
Things to Awesome-Up Your Monday
1. elizah_jane posted this in her journal, AND IT'S ABOUT THE BEST THING EVER. Nature documentary about unicorns. THERE IS DELIGHT IN EVERY SECOND. Seriously, this makes me so RIDICULOUSLY GLEEFUL I have to resort to CAPSLOCK KEYMASH okay? SDJKLFHJKDSHFJKDSHFJKHWNMERKJASHDJKSD:KLF:L
Click to view2. In papercraft this week, we have money hats. Um, if you don't find this awesome, then I don't know what to do with you. ♥ SO CHARMING AND STRANGE.
3. I guess this is a week for me stealing stuff from my awesome flist's journals, because jazzy_peaches posted this on hers: Charting the Beatles, an "exploration of Beatles music through infographics." Infographics! So awesome when done right, yes? It just really fascinates me to see people try and come up with creative ways of graphically representing information, I feel like it stretches your brain in entirely new ways. My favorite is the song credits one.
4. How to wrap a cat for Christmas. UM, HYSTERICAL, and omfg this cat is so patient! I love it.
5. Random hilarity: cake dress. NOT SURE HOW SHE'S SUPPOSED TO MOVE, ahahaha.
6. GUITAR-PLAYING FINCHES, as sent to me by gypsy_sunday. *_* ANIMALS ARE SO COOL. I really love how once one of them figures out what's going on, a whole set of others flock over to investigate. ♥ We both think the one at the end rocking out with the riff is the best--what about you guys?
7. Star Wars made in France. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON HERE, I just know that it's fucking hilarious.
8. Along the lines of awesomely creative THINGS, check out this really really cool design website/store Little Factory. God, I am so in love with this scarf, and this Serif Tote Bag is just really clever. *_* A nice place to spend a few minutes of your day wishing you were rich enough to buy cool things like that, hahaha.
9. A collection of seriously incredible photos of unusual architecture! GAH, SOME OF THESE ARE SO CRAZY, like a fantasy world come to life!
10. Last but not least, awkwardstockphotos, which kaiserkuchen sent to me. ♥ "Where awkward stock photos finally have a purpose." SERIOUSLY, some of these are so bizarre, totally hilarious.
