oh it's that time agaaaain
Hi everyone! It's Monday, and that means it's time for me to try make the start of your week more enjoyable by sharing awesome links with you. YAY! :D
I'm still sick, so I'm really behind on catching up on links and comments and stuff. D: Believe me, I am so tired of having to say that to you guys, probably as tired as you are of hearing it! But basically, if you posted a link last week and I didn't put it in here, don't worry, it WILL get in eventually! Sometimes I just forget to bookmark things all nice and orderly, but I promise you, every awesome link will get its moment to shine. ♥ And thanks for sticking with me during this, guys. :D
Things to Awesome-Up Your Monday
1. Jello Time. No, I'm not going to tell you what it is. All you need to know before you click is that it's the best thing ever. TRUST ME. (Also, by the same guy, Color Flip is cool, though not as cool.)
2. Sent to me by betweenthebliss, some AMAZINGLY CUTE retro-style Alphabet Illustrations. AHHH I love these. Do you guys have a favorite? I love the words he chose.
3. Since you guys liked the games last week, here's an evil, addictive, and crazily fun take on a classic: First-Person Tetris. WARNING: TOTALLY INSANE. WARNING 2: might make you feel dizzy or nauseated if you get motion sickness!
4. Aaaand another game! lazy_daze told me about this one: The Company of Myself. Totally fascinating in its simplicity, with a pretty interesting (if sad D:) storyline. To repeat, though, not a particularly happy game, in the interest of full disclosure. So go in prepared! But it's worth it. :D
5. Okay, I promise I will shut up about games soon, but this one is too fun to leave out. :D Small Worlds is a "short atmospheric game about exploring," and it's really delightful. It's not really a winning or losing game, but it's fun and relaxing, and I really enjoy the kind of unusual interface. I've played this a bunch of times this week because it's so calming! Hopefully a good pick-me-up after Company of Myself, though if your tastes run more to games with plot then you might find this one a little too slow and want to skip it. ♥
6. I keep forgetting to post this because I always think everyone knows about it already, but I recently discovered someone who didn't know about it, so JUST IN CASE you don't know about it EITHER, Best of Craigslist is a goldmine of hilarity. All the craziest and most hilarious posts on Craigslist, collected in one place! MUCH crazier and funnier than your average Craigslist posts--I know, the thought is astounding. :O
7. A really clever animation about parkour--I love this style so much, it's super creative! And for those of you who don't know what parkour is (I didn't before this!), here is a handy Wikipedia link for you. :D Something I wish I had the discipline to learn, because it sounds really useful and awesome.

8. This picture of Leonard Nimoy which MAKES MY LIFE. OH MY GOD, definition of the word badass, right there. *_* sdkjhsdkjghajkhskdg. (betweenthebliss sent this to me, because she is also a badass.)
9. This really cool collection of photographs on the subject "fire and ice"--okay, sounds cliche, but these are really beautiful and fascinating. I love the orange caught in the ice and the holiday fires on the hill in Germany. Such a great collection--man, I LOVE photography. *_*
10. And last but certainly not least, another set of photos: lightning strikes the top of the tallest building in the world. Oh man, what is there NOT to love about these? Nothing, pretty much. (There are also some awesome panoramic ones taken from the top of said building.)
