One of my stories was nominated :)

It's been ages since I actually posted something here on my LJ, not counting my entry about my Etsy shop, but I couldn't resist mentioning this here. :)
I had never heard of the Fanatic Fanfics Multifandom Awards before, but a week or so ago, I got a PM telling me that my old Star Wars story, "Slipping Into Darkness," had been nominated in their "All-Time Favorite Star Wars Fanfic" category.
I wrote "Slipping Into Darkness" over ten years ago, when I was 17. It was that story which really helped spark a love of writing in me, and clichéd as it may sound, it's always had a special place in my heart since then.
I don't know if it will win - I know it's up against very tough competition - but just the nomination means a lot. :D

Summary: Anakin has the opportunity to change the future. But, can he can resist the temptation of the Dark Side and overcome his own weaknesses, or has he already fallen too far? Ep. III AU.
