A Triple Crown Winner! :)
After 37 years, there's finally another Triple Crown winner! American Pharoah did it! :D (And I have to laugh that his name is really spelled that way - it was registered with an incorrect spelling, lol.) My mom is more of a horse racing fan than I am, but it was still fun to watch the race today. First time that a Triple Crown Winner has happened in my lifetime. The "drought" had gone on for so long, some have been asking, "Will there ever be another one? Or have we seen the last?" It's good to know that we haven't.
Congratulations to American Pharoah, his jockey, Victor Espinoza, his trainer, Bob Baffert, and his owners, the Zayat family!
