I'm just gonna fess up now and say that I'm the OP and I LOVE where you're going with this so far. I never even thought of Chekov, but he works so well in the role of the second person infected.

Awesome job so far. I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest of this! :D

It's always a great feeling to be able to put a name to the prompt. :D
And what an awesome prompt it was (and it made me dig out my Enterprise DVDs again, too...).
I have to admit that I was thinking about having Uhrua as the second infected for a while, just to keep that original male-female dynamic, but it somehow didn't feel right. And I can imagine that Bones and Chekov are going to have an interesting chemistry in that decon chamber. I'm looking forward to writing this. :D

Color me intrigued! I haven't gotten to this episode yet, so I think I'll have to hold off to remain unspoiled for the rest of the story. :P

Oooooh, that's going to be an interesting perspective you have on this, then.
I'll try to stick as close to the original episode as I can with this (you know, aside from the whole slash part...), so I'm curious to hear what you have to say.

Funnily enough it's the only Trek series I own all the DVDs of. But then at least you won't already know how it's all going to play out in the end, which is agood thing. :D
