Millions or billions? Assigning game winners

Dec 08, 2006 07:11

For several days I was using $40 billion amount for my "feeling having big money" meditation. $40 million no longer felt big enough. But this morning it again felt better to feel I have $40 million.

In Russian "Living on Love" forum reader with nickname Sajulia began topic on sports betting. I joined the talk and even placed several small bets. Here are several new/old thoughts on this:

I feel more comfortable using model "I assign the winner of a specific game" instead of the model "I guess the winner" or the model "I receive the answer in meditation". If you remember, I had an interesting experience once. There was time when Klaus has created a "Lottery 101" group on internet for teaching winning lottery (it's mentioned on this page). Then he didn't like how this was turning out and left the group. Group members continued to work on sports betting together.

And at that time I did an experiment -- every day for 2 or 3 weeks I would pick a game with almost even odds and assing the team with slightly bigger payout odds -- a winner. Suprisingly, too many of my choices played out just as I assigned them.

Now I'm thinking of returning to this.

money, betting
