I made it. last night I tried out absinthe, and well, I can't say that I really appreciated it as much as everyone pretends to. the stuff I had was 140 proof, and is strong enough to clean a processor chip (my only good analogy I could think of on the spot). an english guy I met tried to light a spoonful of sugar and absinth, and ended up burning the table instead, god that was funny. today I did a bit of sight seeing and other boring stuff that doesn't hold much interest to anyone reading this. there's a museum of jewish artifacts here in the jewish district... left over from WWII... it was the beginning plans of the nazi's 'museum of an extinct race.' monday I'm going to head off to kutna hora, a small town, where some guy back in the 1800's decided to take 40,000 human bones, and make chandeliers and sculptures out of them.
