hey guys. a lot of you may have been thinking, 'if jordan is so poor in the country of europe, why doesn't he ask his parents for money?'

now, that is a very good question class, but the truth really is that he doesn't want to. Jordan came over here by himself, and wanted be stay self-containted, without need from the new world. and yes, I have had help from them in the past and they keep on trying to help me out.. props to my mom and dad. but let's not talk about it, it makes foot tap, and that gets kinda annoying for the people around me.

yesterday was the queens day. I have never seen such a party in my life. the night before, the entire city was up until four in the morning, partying to DJs and bands, and to the life of the crowd, beer. the next morning, I took a walk at 10, and there we're three parties going all ready, just on my street. people we're already partying at freaking 10 in the morning. and it only intensified through the day. by mid-day, you couldn't walk through a crowd, the crowd walked you. it was packed with people wearing orange (the country color), and even included some naked drunk guy swimming in a canal with an orange balloon hat on. that was kind of disturbing, especially in the fresh brown water. I had a great time, listening to music, and meeting new faces. this morning, the streets literally had a foot layering of trash on them. I felt like I was in some sort of sick city-dump, and people crawled through the wasteland to retreat into some sort of ritualistic eating frenzy.

I have a feeling that my time here in amsterdam is coming to an end. it's a nice place, great place, but I have a few more weeks left to travel, so I think my next stop is going to be ireland, and then back to paris. whaddaya guys think? should I get up and go? me thinks maybe.
