Memeage coupled with The Legend of the Batpole Part IV
Legend of the Batpole: Went out fishing with my brother-in-law yesterday. It's always fun to fish with him, and even more so when I outfish him 3 to 1 on the Batpole. :) I've got to state that he was using his old old OLD Zebco rod & reel, and was doing a lot of experimenting with lures and jigs.... and I was going after Bluegill only, while Jerry was looking more for Bass... and pulling Bluegills out of the lake isn't the hardest task. But I still caught more and larger Bluegill than he did.
Nikki's done a good job of telling about the lack of air conditioning, except she's being way too nice about how much this is pissing us both off.
Random factlet with which Rov might be pleased or indifferent to: Austin was ranked number 9 on Field and Stream's list of "America's Best Fishing Cities" in their July issue. Chicago didn't even rank...
