A genuine entry substitute
Nikki and I both know that we have some LJ and EI catching up to do, but we've had some connection problems here... won't go into those much, either, right now. Eventually a con-like report on the wedding at EI and picture albums as soon as we get CDs and emails in, and time to upload and post, etc. (Right now, as you might imagine, we're very heavily into getting boxes unpacked and heavy things set where they need to be. Example: set up washing machine and dryer in correct spots, moved my desk into the office, etc.) Things are incredibly busy but fun. So, as substitute for a real entry, I present a meme gacked from jb1234 among others...
1. What is the geekiest part of your music collection?
I'm so eclectic it's hard to pick. OK, how about the song "Only Solutions" by Journey, not just because I like Journey's popular stuff, but I bought and DLed it strictly because it's what's playing during the end credits of Tron, good enough?
2. What is your secret guaranteed weeping movie?
The Mission. Jeremy Irons, Robert DeNiro.
3. What is the last item you purchased?
A wireless card - which may have been part of the connectivity problem, though Nikki's is doing well.
4. What is the little physical habit that gives away your insecure moments?
Smoking. Duh for me.
5. Do you know anyone famous?
What degree of 'know' are you looking for? And what qualifies as 'famous?'
6. Favorite starbucks drink?
Caramel Macchiato... though places that have hot Banana Mochas are my real weakness.
7. What stickers do you have on your car, if any?
None, though I'd get a "Starfleet Academy" college type sticker.

Firm. Comfy. Now cuddly.

Both, dependent upon need and circumstance.

When all of sci-fi was new and exciting.

Yes. I thought about using my middle name for a few years. But I like mine.

Yes. And it now makes all other times I thought I was pale by comparison.

Never. Make me cry, sometimes, as there is no need for it.

Polish my Japanese and Spanish, then try Russian.

No, but I've thought about it for years.

Guardedness.

Blend in.

Probably not, thought I've always had a yen to try wearing a quilt. Oh, and I did once as part of a skit.

Sci-fi: light and cyberpunk, plus anything by selected authors. Early Clancy, WEB Griffin, Thomas Harris. Theology and philosophy. Chess books Whatever else I can lay my hands upon.
37. If you won the lottery, what would you do?
Pay off debt, get a nice shiny car, get a house... Start a foundation.

multiple occasions. I love target shooting, and do it weekly as I can.
