I have now been on vacation for almost 2 weeks.
I've now been on vacation for almost 2 weeks. It started off with her and I are running to the Keys for a few days. While the temperature and humidity kicked our ass, the trip out to Dry Tortugas was absolutely amazing and the highlights of our diving trip. After this we picked up John and did the Disney and Universal Parks for a couple days before she headed home. I'm finding that the Orlando area is wearing on me when there's so many other Adventures to be had. Finally, John and I are driving back North and decided to take the Blue Ridge Parkway which is been totally worth it for the few hours we've been here. It's funny that we started off this morning swimming in the Atlantic Ocean and if crossed the entire East Coast to be almost in Tennessee in the middle of some of the oldest mountains on the planet. The stars and sounds are amazing and while we have been sitting in mid 90, muggy temperatures for the last month, it is 60° and cool here about 3,000 feet above the sea floor. :-)
It has been a good, physical trip in many cases. Yael left yesterday and I find myself missing her terribly. Yeah, I am very much looking forward to the adventures tomorrow and on our last couple days of vacation. :-)
