(no subject)
Finally, finally broken up for study leave! Why is my school so weird? Every other school in the area has had at least one more week off than us. We are not happy bunnies about this.
Slightly emotional because some people are leaving once they've taken their exams (including one of my best friends *sniff*) but in a strange way. After all, we know we'll see each other again at least for the exams and most of us are going to prom. I mean, 'Summer Dance'. Oops. So it's like we can't decide whether to be happy that school's over, nervous about the exams or sad that it was our last school day together.
It just feels so odd to know that I will never sit through a lesson in uniform ever again (Sixth Form get to wear mufti). Next year's gonna be so... different. Half the loud and crazy ones from my form are moving on to pastures new so I'm thinking things'll be a lot more subdued, and some of my really close friends don't share a single subject with me. And new tutor groups and everything. *gulp*
Still gotta get through the exams before worrying about that though. Maths on Monday. Seriously, what is the point of calling it Study Leave? We get... half a day more than we'd normally be entitled to as a weekend. It seems a little pointless.
