dictator_duck just linked me to The Great Courses website and I think I'm in love. Learn all the things! I really, really, really want to buy the Story of the Human Language course, but it's a little out of my budget. The History of the English Language course, on the other hand, is just about affordable, as is the Life Lessons from Mythology one and I am oh-so-tempted.
EDIT: There is also a course on Vikings. Is October too early to start dropping Christmas present hints?
