Full Dance Card
I had only one extra event slated for this weekend last Monday which was a meeting Sunday morning for a convention. Come Thursday I found out some of my family was visiting from out of state and would only really be here for visiting on Friday so added that. Then a relative on the other side had car trouble and really needed a ride so we planned to ride to the rescue. Turns out he was able to get the vehicle fixed by the time he would have to leave work but we are invited over on Sunday anyway to see his new place. So added that. Then we went and hung out with another relative all afternoon, and we have friends over Friday and Saturday evenings pretty regularly! So suddenly my dance card is full! But it has all been great and I've enjoyed every minute of it.
I realized a few years ago that I was stuck working so much I didn't have time to visit with the friends and family that I cared so much about! So this weekend went a ways towards doing some much needed catching up. I still have some others I need to see and haven't since last Christmas or St. Patrick's day (one of the two). But I've been getting some of my ducks lined up so maybe things will come around right. Hope everyone out there has a great weekend!
