It's been awhile
Since I've heard that song.
But, honestly, I want to say that I miss some people.
Not the very few people I see often, such as Mark and to a lesser degree Matt.
No, this applies to two people who I like alot and don't get so see nearly often enough. William and Jordan. William I can understand because he's been busy with camp and such recently, and I know that even though he's forgiven me, I treated him like shit in Hamilton. Yeah, I know, we all treated eachother like shit, but that doesn't mean people have to get over it. Also, I know Jordan is out of town alot, but Hell, when was the last time anyone even TRIED getting in touch with him? He was at my house a week or so ago, and it rocked.
And, I already talked to Mark about this, but I believe it needs to be said in the open: Our "gatherings" suck.
I've talked to all of you personally, and the way you act alone, versus the way you act within a larger group of people is fucking amazing. I'm guilty of that too, I know.
Granted, we may not all be socialable people, but can we atleast talk about something that matteres?
I swear, the next time I listen to a conversation about any sort of RPG over dinner, someone is swallowing the god damned salt-shaker whole.
Anyone remember literature? Art? Music? Current events? Theatre? Hell, even the movies?! There seems to be a very short list of things we will talk about around everyone else, as if we're afraid to say something everyone else may not like.
Except Matt, but almost every generalization ends in "Except Matt".
This came to mind because Brady gets back Friday, William got back recently, I got to hang out with Jordan recently, and it all makes me remember how damned fun this could all be. But isn't.
