Update: Kingdom Hearts II
The reason why I have been absent of late, it due to the fact that I recently acquired this game. While it's late where I'm at (therefore a full blown spoiler-free review will have to wait), I am going to sum up a few things regarding my experience with this game.
I beat the game on standard difficulty, with a 94% journal completion rate, and a 33% gummi ship completion. Yes, I actually beat the game.
There is, in fact, a "Super Secret Deluxe Movie" at the very end, and in order to access it you must have either a 100% completion, or have beaten it on Proud Mode.
I have seen this movie.
It, and the game itself, are well worth the effort of a replay.

Addendum: Sephiroth is guaranteed to kick your royal patootie should you even attempt at engaging him. I lasted for all of five seconds.
