My knees hurt so bad, I feel like Monica Lewinsky. My whole entire body is wonderfully sore and I love it. The Blood Brother's put on the best show ever last night, it was better than last time, it was one of the best shows I've been to. Me and Jessi went and when we got there there was this huge fuckin line that went around the building. Then when we finally got in there was this shitty foreign band playing, then another shitty band. Then we thought The Blood Brothers were on next because on the ticket it gave the impression that Against Me! was headlining, but they played next instead. Holy hell was it choas. This place doesn't have barricades so as soon as they started playing everyone in the very front- including me and Jessi- just fuckin went forward and down onto the stage. From then on it was a constant battle and a test of might. Near the end of their set my legs really could not take it anymore so at the end of one of the songs I pushed back as much as I could, got off my knees and stood up. Then I had to whip around or else I would've got pushed over onto the speaker, so instead I sat on it and kept pushing people back with my arms instead of my back. That was the center of the stage, when BB played we moved over to the right and sat on the end of the stage with our backs towards the audience. There was a speaker directly to my right and Johnny Whitney directly in front of me. I asked him if it was okie to sit on the side if we got in some serious danger and he was coo' with it. Once they started playing the crowd went forward of course and we figured sitting down there was not the best option so we sat on the speaker that was there and it was perfect. We could see everything perfectly, we weren't blocking people's view because it was a ground speaker, I wasn't getting killed by the crowd, and Johnny played the keyboard right in front of us. I've never been so close to such a great band. I could've just simply reached out and touched him. They played a lot of songs off their new album which was good and surprising. They opened with "Beautiful Horses" and closed with "Cecilia and the Silhouette Saloon".

Afterwards we got them all to sign our pants. They are all down to earth guys and that's what I love about them the most. No big egos.

The air outside was freezing and our shirts were drenched.

Pneumonia anyone?
