THIS IS THE MEMOIR OF A GIRL AND THE MOST AMAZING NIGHT OF HER LIFE.
I saw Tom Morello. OH MY GOD. It was an amazing night that started out with Ice caps, and ended up standing in the freezing to see Tom Morello and Boots Riley, NO DISAPOINTMENT THERE. I was literally RIGHT in front of where Tom Morello, my fuckin hero! played, right in front, so close that his opening act, Boots Riley (OMG AWESOME ACOUSTIC) touched my hand, me and him chilled after the show, aha. Anyways, I freaked out of course about Tom entering. AMAZING. The first song was One Man Revolution and then Whatever it Takes. AWESOME. I made Tom smile by making silly faces and dancing like a goof, what I do best. I was giving him the thumbs up and screaming YEAHH and he smiled his adorable little smile :). I did that a couple times. then gave the rock on symbol to the guitarist, who also did the acoustic for Boots. And waved at the bassist, who was pretty cute, by the way.
Anyways, I made a shirt for me that said TOM MORELLO FOR PRESIDENT and the back said THE NIGHTWATCHMAN GIVETH AND HE TAKETH AWAY. and I made one for Ike that said TOM MORELLO FOR PRESIDENT and the back said UNITE! Tom had bronchitis, so he didn't come out after the show. Oh yeah and me and Ike were so goofy that I looked over and we were being filmed by the band!! It was so funny! And sweet!! Then I got Tom's attention by screaming his name to show him some kid had a tattoo of the Nightwatchman. And then I got his attention again and showed him our shirts, where he smiled really big :) for like the third time when he looked over at us. And handed me and Ike both a pick. OHHEYEAH. oh yeah and Boots slapped my hand when I reminded him that someone bought him a drink. Anyways, Saint Isabelle was awesome, I wondered who that was about, it was about his aunt who passed away, it was so amazing. It was pretty cool, Tom is making an album with Boots and premiered a song for good ol' D-Town. and did a cover of DIRTY DEEDS DONE DIRT CHEAP! aaah amazing. I also got great shots of him singing the Union Song, it was greaat. Amazing night that I needed to write down so I could remember, I will be adding on later.
"SOMETIMES THE NIGHTWATCHMAN JUST WANTS TO PARTY!" He has a great new "party jam" out, I just want to Shake My Shit.
Oh yeah and during the Garden of Gethsemane, Tom wanted quiet and told us that if someone was talking we turn to them and whipser "shut the fuck up" then pinch them. well I guess some girl said that to someone and the girl flipped out and was like "I wasn't even fucking talking you bitch!" and kept yelling, so Tom stopped and gave her a stern look and was like "YOUNG LADY" ahahaha
love him.
