i'm in the computer lab researching spirometers and their flow rate measurement in children with asthma. something about that made me want to update my journal.

so this past weekend was basically awesome. i went on a retreat with ORGT (tech's outdoor rec program) and met a ton of new people who love to backpack, climb, kayak, cave, basically anything. it was a totally new thing for me, because i didn't know a single person, but everyone was so friendly and nice. we all had so much in common. i'm looking forward to getting more involved in ORGT. it really is the place i should have been for the past year and a half, so i need to make up lost time.

i've found that i study a lot better when i'm listening to jack johnson.

next week i might have two tests on monday, which would really suck. i don't think statics is going to be easy, and 2210 already sucks so i'm not looking forward to it. everytime i go to that class, all it makes me want to do is throw things at my professor. he really is the worst teacher i've had in a while. today a kid asked a question and Captain Can't-Be-Wrong basically made fun of him for even asking the question, then went on to tell him the right answer in as rude a way as possible. ugh.

i got a 100 on my physics test.
