VCU LIFE
So im back in VA, being the southern bell that i am. hahahaha rIIiiiight. thanks again to andrew for picking us up. LOL.
studio project:
take a piece of art and take it out of the gallerie and put it in a new environment. Make it fit....
i WAS making ads to paint on windows, then now it kinda isnt. i was gonna paint some salvador dali stuff and have a quote from him and then make it like into an ad, but now my studio teacher really isnt diggin it. he was like questioning "how is this art?" and i really just wanted to say to him, "im not making art. i'm making an advertisement. get over it you big fat cliche!" but i was just like "i'll have to think about it."
the plan now is just to have the painting and a quote. no relation to selling anything..... and then doing it in several different places.... at the same time.... god this isnt going to work.
in other news, people are starting to call me sammie here and it makes me feel like im making connections and "friends" here outside of my normal group. they are now not just classmates. it really makes me feel good. however, my roomy and i are getting more and more distant. :( she's got a bf now. siigh. on the subject of boys, i was totally blushing when MA was telling me that andrew might like me. gaaah! sammie=huUGE dork. thank goodness it was only mary anne!!!
oy, art hist exam tomorrow at 7pm. and max wants to study with me. ehh. that's ONE boy who i wouldnt mind to just never appear again.
