[Fanmix] - Final Fantasy VIII - Seifer/Squall, Irvine/Squall
Ok, I'm posting it. Just because. After a lot of procrastination, a generous dollop of time agonising over song order, and the substitution of Godsmack for Rihanna, I've done it.
Title: Gunshots Like Lullabies
Fandom: Final Fantasy VIII
Pairings: Seifer/Squall, Squall/Irvine
Warnings: Cussing in some of the songs, adult themes, yaoi (yes rly), hints of fluff.
Notes: Ok, bear with me here. Follows a story (influenced a little by the amazing fanfiction of scribblemoose, I hope you don't mind), in which Seifer and Squall turn from rivals into something more, Seifer leaves, Squall finds himself fighting against his ex-lover, desperately alone and a little overwhelmed, and Irvine is there to pick up the pieces. Hence Part I is the angsty, violent, sexy music, and Part II is a little more mellow. Still there with the sex, but not quite so much there with the fighting and the biting and the blood. Oh, and 'I Stand Alone' is more SxS than IxS, but I thought it started out the IxS part nicely by summing up Squall's state of mind.
