In these first 2 days of this week we're assisting to scenes of craziness and dependency. It's a dangerous form of the disease, it kills people and our minds. It's called oil.
Truck drivers of small and big companies decided that the time for tricks is over; exploitation is something they don't like anymore, so they thought that the only way to be heard by this government is to paralyze the country and they are doing a pretty good job. The disadvantages of this strike aremany for very different sectors of our economy.
I salute them for their courage and i applaude them for their actions. In these pre-Xmas weeks where it seems like supermarkets have to be filled and refilled with every possible purchasable good that has been created on earth...well, Xmas this year seems to be weak weak.
Corporations are complaining for not being able to offer the best to their customers...hey, this is such a big deal...instead of choosing among 120 different brands of cheese, well, we'll only have to our disposal something like 40. But they forgive that many people don't even have the chance to choose, but accept what they've been offered...
And it's the panic. People fear to be stuck at home because of lack of oil for their super SUV. Yes, if truck drivers continue this protest, we'll have a weak Xmas and a long road in front of us. And we'll have to go to the end walking.
It's a sick world...where many young and brilliant minds should probably work for a better tomorrow...for less cars and more people who like their feet and their bicycle wheels..and when it's not enough, well public transportation. Why i have to see on a daily basis cars which only take one person from one place to the other????
Maybe if this mass protest lasts til the end of the week, people will start to find alternative solutions pushing their mind to reason???
