Haha, it is funny how that happens. Sometimes I skim the various archives looking for something, and just end up spending hours reading other stuff after stumbling on it.

What did you find that caught your fancy?

I'm getting into a new fandom and I was searching for a very specific trope of the two main characters (both guys) and I ended up reading a long story about two secondary characters I'm not interested in, one of them genderswitched to a woman, so it was het. But this female character was so fucking well built and so strong and awesome without stopping being female that I just fell in love with the story. Also, there was a lot of emotional turmoil and quite a bit of adventure with a lot of references to canon.

So yeah, it is funny how that happens, especially when I'm such a narrow-minded person regarding my tastes and I rarely give a chance to new things. But man, this was really worth it.
