Here's another story i wrote... Hope you like it. There isn't much adult content-unless you can count Fai getting in the bath 'Adult content'.
Age:U
Brief: Well, it takes place in another world just after Fai lost his eye. The whole Tsubasa gang are trying to win a war called 'The Crystal War' for the country. Lots of blood, lots of gore... so enjoy it.
Ha ha ha  =)

The magician walked into the courtyard, there was ivy climbing up the walls, the plant’s leaves were golden and many were missing. There was an autumnal mist settling over the ground that masked the icy patches beneath it. He could see his breath today. The sky was clear and blue but also dark and sinister-as if dusk was upon it. Fai kept a firm grip on his golden staff, using it for support against the masked ice. He felt unstable-as if he would loose his balance at any second. He pulled his coat tightly around himself and started to walk towards the centre of the courtyard, there he found what he was looking for. A blue crystal, set into the ground. It was covered over by a piece of glass. He raised his staff into the air and then struck the pointed tip as fast as he could into the glass. It shattered but the glowing blue crystal remained intact. He heard voices and footsteps coming towards him so he bent down and scooped up the crystal before he was caught. Then he ran as fast as he could, slipping a few times and then steadying himself with his staff. Glancing over his shoulder he could see about half a dozen people in the courtyard. Some were crouched over the empty hole in the ground. The rest had spotted him and started to chase after him, when they slipped and started swearing.

Fai ran to one of the far walls and started to climb up, using the ivy as a foothold. It was difficult when he was carrying his staff and he kept slipping down. By the time he reached the top of the wall he could see more and more people gathering in the courtyard. He felt the air go cold and the sky went dark. The courtyard went a sickly shade of grey and, even if just by a little, it seemed to fade away. Fai ignored the fact that what he’d just done was terrible; he tried not to let it bother him. He jumped down off the top of the wall, hitting the ground at terrifying speed. He could hear the people scrambling up the wall, many fell and the sound of breaking bones disturbed him a little too much. He ran, as fast as he could. He had to get away.

Fai held onto the crystal as he ran through the village, some of the townsfolk shot wary glances at him but he tried his best to ignore them; what mattered was getting away alive. A policeman stopped him as he ran through the market stalls at top speed.

‘Why are you running?’ he asked. But Fai didn’t need to respond. He looked at the policeman and as soon as he saw the eye patch over Fai’s left eye and the blood on his face he soon backed away. Fai’s coat billowed out behind him but he kept the crystal in his right hand, the staff was in his left hand. He had to use the staff to leap over fences and break through doors. He ran through the next courtyard and then through another marketplace; he was nearly home now.

Getting home had never been so good. Fai ran through the door, out of breath and sweating. Syaoran and Sakura sat on the couch with Mokona, watching TV and warming up by the fire. Kurogane stood in the doorway and took Fai’s coat off his back as soon as he stepped over the threshold into the main room.

‘You got it?’ he asked. Fai thrust the crystal into his hand and took his shoes off, dumping them in the hallway.

‘Where are you going?’ Mokona asked when Fai started to walk up the stairs.

‘Im going to bed.’ Fai replied proceeding up the stairs. He walked into his room and flopped down on the bed, fully dressed. Kurogane appeared in the doorway.

‘Did something happen?’ he asked.

‘No.’ Fai replied.

‘Did you hurt yourself?’ Kurogane asked.

‘No’ Fai replied. He was getting sick of this already.

‘Then what happened?’

‘I feel guilty for taking it, that’s all. When I was escaping over the wall I heard someone slip and break something. It was a terrible sound. Then I looked over the wall and I saw the courtyard go grey and fade.’

Kurogane sat on the bed and looked into Fai’s remaining eye. ‘It’s not your fault.’ He said, searching out Fai’s hand and holding it.

‘It is. Don’t say that.’

‘Do you want to live?’ Kurogane asked. Fai had to look away but Kurogane used his free hand and tilted Fai’s chin up to look at him.

‘Yes.’ Fai said.

‘Then you had to take that crystal. That’s the only way you can live. Without that crystal your staff is powerless and we’re going to war tomorrow for this country. Without your staff you would die. You’d get shot and you’d die’ Kurogane said.

‘Yes.’ Fai said softly.

‘Don’t do that, you sound like you don’t give a damn when you do that.’

‘Lay me to sleep.’ Fai said; looking up at Kurogane- he looked like he really needed him.

Kurogane made sure the pillow was right and then he threw back the duvet and lay Fai back. Then he pulled the duvet over him. Fai lay quiet and still for a moment with his eye closed. Then he opened it and smiled. ‘Tell Mokona not to worry for me. I’m still here.’ Kurogane closed the door behind him and went downstairs. Fai started to drift off and eventually he fell asleep.

The courtyard was fading and a voice spoke softly to Fai.

‘What do you want with me?’ Fai asked.

‘S-Soul…Your-r soul is Innocent.’ The voice said. It echoed around him and Fai looked around confused and scared. He was now in complete darkness; the courtyard had completely faded away. People’s screams rang loud and clear in his ears. He could smell blood and he could feel pain. A whisper of light appeared in the darkness.

‘S-S-Soul!’ The voice said and the light wrapped around his body. Fai couldn’t breathe. He was going to die…He struggled to get free, his body writhing, trying to find a way out…

Then he woke up.

Fai’s heartbeat was racing and his breathing was heavy. The sky outside was dark and he could hear nobody moving around downstairs. He looked across at the bed next to him where Kurogane should have been. He wasn’t there. Then he got out of bed and walked across the landing, trying to be as silent as he could. Syaoran and Sakura’s bedroom door was open a crack, he peeped in to find them both asleep. Sakura was in the bed next to the window. Syaoran’s bed was empty and he was sat on the floor next to Sakura’s bed, leaning against it, sleeping. He backed out of the doorway then went to check the bathroom. That was empty too. He wanted to call out to find Kurogane but if he did he would wake up everyone else too. Fai went downstairs to find Kurogane on the couch, watching the TV with no sound on. Mokona was on a pillow on the other couch, asleep. When Fai entered the room Kurogane looked up at him. Fai walked over to the couch and sat next to him. Kurogane’s gaze followed his every move as he sat down. They sat in silence for a moment. Then Kurogane switched the TV off and looked at Fai. ‘You’re all right now?’ he asked.

‘No. I had a weird dream.’ Fai said.

‘What about?’ Kurogane asked, pulling Fai onto his lap. Fai leaned into him and sighed. Then he told him all about it.

‘That’s horrible.’ Kurogane said. He wrapped his arms around Fai.

‘And im really worried about tomorrow. About the war for this country…’Fai said.

‘Don’t worry. I’ll keep you safe.’ Kurogane said and Fai smiled.

The next morning Fai woke up and looked around. He didn’t remember falling asleep downstairs. Kurogane was already awake and he reached up and stroked Fai’s blond hair.

‘Ready?’ Kurogane said.

‘Yeah. Let’s show those fools who rule the roost here.’ Fai said. Mokona was awake and was bouncing around on the pillow. Even Mokona was going to fight today. Fai got off Kurogane’s lap and went upstairs to change. He opened the chest that contained his clothes from his original country, ordinary clothes and the clothes he would fight in today, along with other necessities like underwear and deodorant etc… He pulled the war clothes out and held them up. He put them onto the bed and then reached into the bottom of the chest and pulled out the shiny chrome gun. It had intricate patterns worked into it and Fai knew from experience that it was a damn good shot. He loaded it, then changed into the war clothes. He slipped the gun into the holster and draped the ammunition over his shoulder. It was only a small pistol but, if you aimed it right, you could easily kill. But, that’s the same with any gun I guess…

Syaoran, Sakura, Kurogane, Fai and Mokona stood in the main room, checking that they had everything they needed and that they were in the correct state of dress. Mokona had a little bullet-proof vest on along with a gun. (Yup, they were giving a creature that looked like a rabbit a GUN.) Sakura had a skirt over jeans ensemble with a gun and a knife. She even had some grenades on her belt. Syaoran wore trousers and a bullet proof shirt with huge boots. He had a machine gun with two rows of ammunition around his shoulders. Kurogane wore black and red. He wore black boots with red laces, black jeans with red stitching and a loose black vest, with a coat and his favourite wrist bands. He had a sword and a rifle. But he vowed not to use the rifle if he could help it. He was skilled so he didn’t worry about being shot. Fai wore white, blue and black-his long coat and his white jeans. He tucked his jeans into his black boots that came up to his knees. He wore a white polar necked sweater with blue embroidery across it. He also wore a bullet proof shirt underneath because he was worried about being shot. He also had his chrome pistol, his ammunition and his staff. The group wore different colours but they all had the same logo on their clothes. The logo looked like a set of wings. As long as they had those they were a group. Fai set the blue crystal into his staff; it hovered just above the frame.

‘Time to go.’ Kurogane said. Opening the door and leading the way to the battlefield.

Fai used his staff in more ways than just for magic. He used it’s point to stab people and then used the crest to whack people over their heads. He had to run away from gunfire and one person nearly stabbed him. He got covered in blood when people threw knives and grenades. He wished he hadn’t worn white. Kurogane kept his promise and killed anyone who threatened to hurt Fai. The two teams fought all day, then the whistles went and they were forced to retreat. Syaoran and Sakura had to go into medical because they’d been shot. Mokona had fractured ribs. Kurogane broke his wrist defending Fai and Fai had been stabbed repeatedly in the shin. They were all covered in blood but they were lucky to be alive.

The next morning Fai ran himself a bath, he had to keep his maimed shin out of the water. He got in and washed his hair and body then just lay there. He felt himself sinking into the water, deeper and deeper. Then his head went under. He could hear someone calling his name. He kept his head under the water and then the door broke down and Kurogane pulled his head back up.

‘What the hell were you doing!?’ he asked. Fai coughed and spat out the water. ‘I was calling your name-I wondered where you were. Then I realised you were probably in here. When you didn’t respond I got worried!’ Kurogane was talking at about 90 miles an hour. Fai looked at him.

‘Thank you.’ He said. Kurogane looked at him.

‘I love you, you know that by now, right?’ he said.

‘I love you too. Thanks for saving me, Kuro-Pii!’ Fai laughed. Kurogane smiled, then remembered he was supposed to get mad.
